I don’t know about you...but I love felt! I created a felt board in college while I was student teaching at the on campus preschool. I used a flat painting canvas and glued a piece of felt around it. It’s been very durable and has withstood many children playing with it.
When it comes to felt fun, have fun with it! Make games that are interesting to your child and you. Don’t be too critical of your crafty skills. Children will love the felt pieces no matter what they look like. Below are some different felt pieces I’ve made for practicing colors, counting, spelling my son‘s name, fine motor, and more! The money, bag of alphabet letters and the summer felt fun food book are all from that amazing section at the front of Target. It is a great place to find things for learning opportunities!
