SUMMER TIME! Time for fun in the sun and family adventures! What fun adventures is your family going on this summer? I love the idea of making a summer bucket list. This is the second year we have made one and while my boys are still younger, my husband and I make the list based on things we think they’ll enjoy. If your kids are older, let them help make the list!

On our list we included things like have an outdoor picnic, complete library summer reading program, visit the zoo (we already accomplished this one), lots of swimming, and more! Your list doesn’t have to include a lot of big adventures. Ours is mostly free things close to home and then we have a couple bigger family adventures like the zoo and a museum. Check out your community resources for free summer activities. Our farmers market even has free meals for kids a few days a week!

No matter what adventures you go on this summer..remember to enjoy your time with your family! There are only a limited number of summers until they grow up and make their own plans. Enjoy the time while you can and make lots of fun memories!
