Introducing...Mom

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to you all. My name is Shelby and I am a mom. I have a toddler named Andrew and another boy who is expected to arrive in the next couple months. I have been a stay at home mom for a little over a year now. Before staying at home, I worked as a mentor/trainer for infant and toddler teachers. I have a passion for working with young children, their families, and other educators. I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in early childhood and family studies and decided to start this site where I could share information, ideas, tips and whatever else you, the reader, are interested in. I hope that this blog will be helpful to parents of young children and other educators looking for ideas, needing advice, or wanting some encouragement. Let's face it...raising small children is hard, but you are not alone! If you every have a suggestion for a topic you would like to see me post about, send me a message in the contact section or comment on one of my posts.
