Count Your Blessings

I received this blessings jar as a gift from a dear friend a few years back and wanted to share how we have turned it into a Fall thankfulness tradition!

What You Need: Jar, pieces of paper and a pencil/pen

What We Do: When we get out the Fall decorations the jar comes out. Next to it I put a pencil and a pad of mini sticky notes. Throughout the Fall months everyone in the family can write things they are thankful for and put them in the jar. On our drives to the different Thanksgiving festivities we read all the blessings and reflect on everything we have to be thankful for!

Other Ideas: Use the jar year round and read once a month or when the jar is full. Make a jar for each person in the family then have the other families write specific things about that person or that person has done that they are thankful for.
